The Management Committee regret to announce the passing of one of the Colchester & District Youth Football Leagues, Vice Presidents, Derek Gurney. On behalf of the Colchester & District Youth Football League we would like to pass on our condolences to Derek’s family and our thoughts are with them at this sad time.

The Funeral service will take place at St Luke's Church, Church Road, Tiptree CO5 0SU, on Tuesday 26th September 2023 at 2pm

The Colchester & District Youth Football League offers young footballers throughout north Essex and the surrounding areas the opportunity to play regular, competitive football in order to develop both their footballing talent and build friendships on a weekly basis.

With almost forty different divisions spanning across eleven age groups, youngsters from the ages of six to eighteen can join one of the many clubs that compete within them, playing matches each weekend and competing in the league's various cup competitions.
